This Protein Bar is low in calories, high in protein, easy and quick to make, delicious and it’ll provide you with all essential amino acids (it contains a complete amino acid profile).

From looking at the photos you can tell why I’m not a professional chef. I’m not great at making food shapes 😅, but you can work on that for your recipe

Ingredients

  • 10 g Brown Rice Protein Powder
  • 10 g Pea Protein Powder
  • 25 g Soy Protein Powder (Banana Flavor)
  • 35 g PB2
  • 20 g Cocoa Powder
  • 10 g Date Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 100 ml Water
  • 5 g Coconut Flakes optional – for topping

Instructions

  • Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl and mix the wet ingredients in another bowl
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix them together (I used an electrical mixer)
  • If it's too dry adda bit of water gradually until the "dough" mixes together, but isn't dry, but also not too wet (it should not be sticky)
  • If you accidentally added too much water, don't stress about it. Add more PB2
  • Take a handful (it was exactly 52g of "dough" per bar for me), shape it into a bar-like thingy and then sprinkle some coconut flakes on it (or roll it through some coconut flakes)
  • Wrap it in aluminum and store it in the fridge for about 7 days.

Notes

  • You can adjust to your liking. You can add oats to make it drier, you can change the flavor of the protein powder or you can even make it sweeter by adding more date syrup (if you like it sweeter). Keep in mind that that will change the macros though.
  • If you don’t want to use flavored protein powder, you can use unflavored, but you’ll need to add more sweetener (since the flavored ones are artificially sweetened).
  • If you don’t want to use brown rice protein powder or pea protein powder, you can switch it to more soy protein powder
